It’s been 67 years since the atomic bombing of Nagasaki, which killed between 60,000 and 80,000 people, according to the Radiation Effects Research Foundation. Pic of the Day: The Petermann Glacier Loses another Iceberg

NASA’s Aqua satellite has captured this image of an iceberg breaking off Petermann glacier, in Greenland. The iceberg is 46 square miles (119 square kilometres), which is about twice the size of Manhattan. Two years ago, the glacier already lost an iceberg of 100 square miles (260 square kilometres).
