Stephen Hawking finds the announcement that the Higgs boson is probably discovered “upsetting”. Why? The famous physicist admits in an interview with BBC that he has lost a bet that the Higgs boson would not be found. Hawking says the bet was made with physicist Gordon Kane of Michigan University. “It seems I have just lost $100,” said Hawking. Watch the interview in the video below.
