3 weeks after the Fukushima nuclear disaster, a volunteer network from around the world took shape with the goal of helping people measure radiation levels and collectively map hotspots throughout the country. More than a year later that network continues to grow and now the mission has gone beyond the borders of Japan, to help people around the world map radiation levels in their communities.
