For their annual photo contest, National Geographic Traveler magazine received more than 12,000 entries from 6,615 photographers in 152 countries around the world. All photos were judged on creativity and photographic quality by photographic experts. Now, the jury has announced the winners. Last week we showed our favorite merit winners. The coming days, you can check out the Third, Second and First Place winner.
Today, in the category Outdoor Scenes, Second Place winner “My Balloon” by Vo Anh Kiet: “H’mong children play with their balloons on a foggy day in Moc Chau, Son La province, Vietnam; photographed January 2012.”
