The assassin bug has its own way of intimidating possible predators. After killing and eating its victims, the bug glues the insect cadavers to its back. Thus looking bigger than its actual size. In addition, the bodies function as a suit of armor. When attacked by another insect, the bodies will peel off, leaving the predator with nothing but a bunch of exoskeletons.
