Human excrement could very well be a source of fertilizer for the world’s food supply. This graph shows that urine and feces supply all of the phosphorus and potassium needed to grow crops, and nearly all the necessary nitrogen. Don’t laugh; our excrement could be cleaner and safer than a lot of other fertilizer sources.
