If Numbers Matter, the Human Race is Behind

We’re outweighed by the rest of nature.

Since we’re 7 billion strong, humans should be able to pull a lot of weight. Not so, according to the first of a new series of U.S. Public Broadcasting Service science videos. We’re literally out-massed by aspen groves (which are single organisms), krill (whale food) and even bats. Some interesting perspectives here.
